SERVICES

Wisconsin has a fun and rich history. Before Wisconsin was formed, Native American tribes such as Ojibwe, Fox, Sauk, and Winnebanjo lived there for over thousands of years. The first Europeans to reach this region now called Wisconsin were the French at the very end of a war called the "Indian War", around 1763. 20 years later, after the American Revolution ended, the land officially became a part of the United States. The land was still controlled by the British fur traders for several years to come. In the 1820s, a mining boom brought many settlers to the land. Native Americans fought to protect their land, but by 1832 most of the battles ended.Wisconsin was named in 1836, and it became a state as part of the U.S.A. on  May  29, 1848.
